Returning to The Source:
The last part of this year's Summer Retreat has just started. This is a week in silence - an opportunity to come back to our own source and to reconnect with this natural essence within ourselves.
In Satsang, Swaha has talked about silence and the way of Zen - the way of Meditation. People are getting in tune while sitting, eating or sleeping - just responding naturally to whatsoever the situation requires.
The invitation is to take a break from the dramas in our lives, and to see how it is to exist here and now - unidentified with past or future. Feeling the sun on the skin. Listening to the birds. Smelling the universe of the Norwegian summer. Simply melt into the moment. Simply disappear...
Audio files from Satsang:
Yesterday, Swaha shared some words of wisdom from the old Japanese Zen master, Rinzai, about stopping, seeing and letting go of the dreams and desires that is holding us away from this moment.
Today, he read a story about, Hayakujo, another well known Zen master.
Below, you can listen to the talks:

Mystic Rose retreat:
Tomorrow is the last day of the Mystic Rose retreat, and we have experienced a wonderful process of laughter, tears and silence.
People have discovered that they truly are alive, free and lovely human beings. Bring this Mystic Rose with you, take care of it and stay connected.
Thank you everyone, for nourishing this oasis of love and truth with your beautiful presence. You are always welcome here.
Below, we share two talks from Satsang. In the first, Swaha comments on a letter from a fellow seeker about dying to the past and letting go of the fear which is holding us back. The second is about Buddhas way - beyond words and expressions.

Mystic Rose retreat:
We have just entered the third week of the Mystic Rose. After the laughter and tears, we are now ready to come back to the silent heart that lives in us all.
For a least six hours per day, we sit still and simply watch.
It is a wonderful experience to be among so many people and be silent. Much energy is lost in unnecessary talking, and now we get a chance to feel how it is to keep that energy for ourselves.
Today, we publish two talks from Satsang. In the first, Swaha talks about silence and meditation. In the second, he talks about the coming and going some seekers are experiencing.

Mystic Rose retreat:
Suddenly, the weather changed from warm to cold as we entered the second week of the Mystic Rose. For three hours per day, we will get in touch with the sorrow and release it through tears.
A soft and fragile presence is apparent in peoples eyes.
Below, is an audio file from Satsang, where Swaha shares some words of wisdom spoken by an enlightened woman, Daya, who lived 4-5 hundered years ago. It is a good reminder of what is real.

Mystic Rose retreat:
The laughter is happening good.
People are looking and acting totally playful and crazy. A wonderful experience to be in the presence of so much love and happiness.
Today we share two talks from Satsang with Swaha. The First, is a story of what Osho once said about the mystic, Gurdjief. In the Second, Swaha is asked by a fellow seeker, who recently became a mother, to talk a little bit about motherhood.

Mystic Rose retreat:
There is crazy laughter coming from Dharma Mountain these days, as the Mystic Rose retreat has just started.
This is the first time this beautiful meditation - created by Osho - is arranged at Dharma Mountain, and there is an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation surrounding the area.
In Satsang yesterday, Swaha gave a beautiful talk on laughter and crying, and it is amazing to see how these natural healing and cleansing processes are suppressed in the modern world. In Mystic Rose, people are invited to allow the laughter and crying to happen naturally - preparing the body and mind for silence.
Today, Swaha commented on a letter from a friend, about finding, realizing and integrating the truth - the end of searching, the beginning of finding.
Below, we share these two talks:
World Of Opposites (Mp3 audio)
The End of Searching (Mp3 audio)
Quote of the day:
"When you are ready to follow your heart, existence takes care."
Vasant Swaha.
