The sunshine of the Beloved

Spring is in the air.
The sun shines.
The ice melts.

The birds sing.
The squirrels scamper across the melting snow.
The buds on the trees are waking up to a new cycle of life.

In the sunshine of the Beloved, our hearts are opening like delicate buds, ready to brave this new, unknown world. Dormant for the cold, dark winter, the warmth of the sun encourages us to come out. To play, to dance, to sing the silent song of life with all our heart’s joy.

How did the rose
ever open its heart
and give to this world all of its beauty?
It felt the encouragement of light against its being,
otherwise we all remain too

With infinite patience, and gentle humour, our beloved supports us to look at ourselves, giving us the courage to allow his light to penetrate our darkness and lead us towards the light. Gratitude and awe overflow. How can we be so lucky to have found ourselves at this feast? Acceptance is the key.

Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn’t matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come.
